Documents necessary for declaration are reflected in:

- Article 60.3 of the Law on Customs, and

- Article 3.1 of Annex 4 to this order

Process Steps

Step1

Declarant shall submit all necessary calculation of costs and materials, photo shooting and etc to customs in advance and customs shall conduct inspection on it. If necessary, customs may ask assessment results of professional organization

Step2

The declarant submits all necessary documents to Customs of Mongolia via e-mail, fax or through the customs information network

Step3

The Customs reviews all documents submitted. If necessary, customs may asks for more related documents or Information

Step4

Conducts customs inspection and stamps “Approved by customs of Mongolia” on the declaration of goods

Step5

Customs conduct inspection on goods’ return date, usage of intended purpose or not, and goods’ country of origin is changed or not

Step6

In case of timely return of goods temporarily imported into the customs territory, customs duties and other taxes placed in the temporary account shall be refunded

Step7

Releasing goods and granting permission to Temperarily export the goods across the customs border or transfer to another regime.

NOTE:

1. Goods imported in accordance with the procedures set forth in Articles 85, 93 and 99 of the Customs Law may be returned through a port other than the one originally imported.

2.Goods to be placed under the deportation procedure may be exported to a country other than where they were originally imported

3. If the goods placed under the procedure are detained or confiscated due to a customs violation, the procedure shall be deemed terminated
